Expand vocabulary and common native expressions. 차 시 날 짜 강 의 내 용 활용도서 1 차시 8/11 The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward Writing Focus: Summarizing Key Events ▪ Ice-breaker activity to get to know each other and assess students’ writing levels. ▪ Warm-up conversation about everyone’s favorite fairy tale. ▪ Guided writing activity: Learn strategies for identifying key events and summarizing short stories. ▪ Interactive read-aloud with comprehension and discussion questions after each page to keep students engaged. ▪ Writing activity: Write a summary about The Wolf’s Story . 2 차시 8/12 The Wolf’s Story by Toby Forward Writing Focus: Perspective ▪ Warm-up discussion reviewing the story and debating whether the wolf is truly a villain. ▪ Guided writing activity: Explore familiar fairy tales and create a chart to map out key events and the different perspectives. ▪ Creative writing activity: Rewrite a fairy tale from the villain’s perspective in a letter format. · 3 차시 8/13 The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka Writing Focus: Persuasive Writing ▪ Interactive read-aloud with comprehension and discussion questions after each page to keep students engaged.
